fragmented love poem #5
I love you in my
ambulance way
sirens flashing like
modern candlelight
neck shimmering
like half a radio
-
this is my battered
valentine, my sad
version of prayer
my excuse for a
flare gun when
it’s just too dark
Love at zero gravity
g, you’ve conquered my will
only my hair grows, the pitter-patter of lust, everywhere
the scent of survival
when it’s this placebo
I love so.
