Alex is a freelance writer, a former journalist for the U.S. Information Agency (V.O.A.), and has worked as television director for MSNBC's "Hardball with Chris Matthews" and several other now defunct political shows which aired in the mid to late 90s. Currently, he's the managing editor of an online formative assessment system pioneered by N.C. State University.
